Usual Holiday Craziness!!!!

Last month, Julia's mother came down with a septic infection and was recovering well from -- except a weird reaction to the anti-nausea meds they gave her. Last week, her mother fell and broke both bones in one ankle (I don't remember which) -- exactly where she broke it 26 years ago!!!! She had a plate put in her ankle and was release to a nursing home to gain enough strength to use a walker instead of crutches.

This week Julia's dad was put in the hospital with a repeat of the tachycardia that made last Christmas so much fun! He should be out tomorrow. So Julia's driving back for the holidays.

This means neither of us will be at the New Years festivities. And exactly what our plans are is in flux -- and not the game.
