Well, we currently have a severe thunderstorm warning going on right now (second one tonight). They're not expecting much in the line of rain, just thunder, lightning strikes and wind. So far, we've clocked gusts of 77 mph. And because it's been dry for the last day or so, there's a lot of dust in the air. The clouds are more a dusty brown than gray. I foolishly left the windows open because I wanted to air out the apartment -- oops. Don't think I'll do that one again. I had to wipe the grit off the computer so I could use it.

Normally, I can see most of the way across the river and valley, but not this evening. If I can see five blocks, I'd be surprised.

I'd better wrap this up before we lose power.
