We have a home!

We didn't do as well on the price bargain as we had hoped, but we did get a 1-year warranty. For those who are interested, here is our new house. The two rooms we want to use as a library aren't shown here, nor is the back yard. But it's still a good set of pics until I upload the ones we took.

The main floor is over 1400 (nearly 1500) square feet. The second floor is nearly that. But there's only a half basement.

Two rooms on the main floor don't appear in those photos.

wow -- the size isn't apparent from the pix the realtor had. Especially not the size of the second floor, which from the front roofline looked like it might have only 50-60% the usable floor space of the first floor.

Cool news! Someday, sister_devora & I are going to get around to becoming householders ourselves. Renting's OK, but I wish we had a bit of back yard I could wall off from the worst of the ambient light.
