The cooking has begun
Nov. 24th, 2004 04:02 pmWell, sort of anyway. I just am baking pumpkin tarts as I type. Julia and I found out that we can not eat two pumpkin pies before they go bad and freezing them is not recommended. So I bought some pie tarts and some foil muffin wrappers. I am making 16 tarts and 12 muffin/custards. We'll see how that turns out. Then I need to make the cornbread for the stuffing. While that is baking, I'll probably chop up the onion I want to stuff the turkey with, just so I don't have to do it tomorrow morning BEFORE I get my caffeine. Finally, I need to mix the bran muffin batter for breakfast.
Tomorrow morning we will start the day with bran muffins and cappucinos (or latte for Julia) with homemade whipped cream. We will be munching on various things throughout the day. Dinner will be *hopefully* at 4:00, turkey willing. I figure we will have pie and fresh, homemade whipped cream around 7:00 or so.
