Apr. 16th, 2009 06:03 pmFor not much happening here, we're pretty crazily busy. We have a very heavy event/activity schedule this month. A large part the reason for the crazy is that I am entering the An Tir A&S scene with a splash (I hope). So I'm teaching this weekend and entering two competitions next weekend (cooking and A&S).
Why the big push all of a sudden? I realized that not many people around here realize I cook. Heck, most of them didn't realize I do A&S at all (not a new problem for me -- was an issue in BMDL too*). Because of being Lions Blood and sick, I didn't have the time or energy to do much in the line of competitions. I'm finally feeling well enough to start doing more A&S.

* I once made matching outfits for Juliana and myself -- the green brocade and rust. Someone who saw us wearing the outfits at the same time looked at me and said, "Did Juliana make your dress for you?" My response: "No, I made hers." The reason this ticked me off was that I was in the middle of remaking my entire wardrobe from bodice and skirt to cotehardies and surcoats (and showed up at random events and meetings with hemming to do).
