Spring Break
Mar. 27th, 2005 01:35 pmJulia's been on spring break this week. Add in one migraine (drugs worked, but left me feeling logy/hung over for three days) and you'll understand why we haven't been terribly logged in.
Today is the culinary guild potluck. The theme is eggs. I decided to try to make counterfeit eggs, but they didn't turn out quite how I wanted them too. I think the rice didn't get quite cooked enough (no surprise with me) and it wouldn't smush. So, instead of the smooth texture, I have oblong, sort of egg-shaped, rice puddings. They taste pretty good though.
Tomorrow, it's back to the grindstone.
