Oct. 9th, 2005 01:21 pmWell, I'm achy and sore today. But I got to bake and make several dozen cookies!!! Was it worth it? YES!!!
I highly advise everyone to read www.userfriendly.org.
Now for the serious stuff:
I am stunned by the earthquake that hit Pakistan, Afganistan and India yesterday. The death count is higher than the population of the town I grew up near (10 miles outside of). Wow! If you didn't donate to any disaster aid organizations during the Katrina/Rita storms, then I urge you to donate to one now. The victims of the earthquakes didn't have much to begin with and they lost it all.
