Oct. 29th, 2005 09:03 pmWell, Juliana's cough is slowly getting better, but more wheezy. She doesn't cough all the time -- only when she talks, laughs, gets up, goes to be, or moves. As long as she is perfectly still, she's doing pretty good. Good enough that she was able to sleep in the bed all night (instead of moving to the couch so she didn't wake me).
Today has been an annoying/aggravating day though. We bought a new networkable printer. However, I can't hook my computer up to it via the wireless lan. I can see the wireless lan, but not anything on it but me. I thought it was an issue of a couple of connections needing to be bridged. I did that and lost my internet connectivity. Fortunately XP has a neat function for those of us with a little dangerous knowledge -- System Restore. So I am back to status quo.
Well, I'm done with trying to figure the damned network out. I've been working on this since July and even had a co-worker over to help out. This time, we're going to have professionals come in and set it up -- with a guarantee and an explanation of how to add other computers. *Grrr*
