May. 31st, 2007 05:45 pmThings are going. Getting out of LB has really made me feel much lighter and brighter (mostly). I don't feel that dark cloud hanging over my head and I'm getting less afraid of opening my e-mail each day. Yes, I was afraid to read my home e-mail -- mostly because of one amazingly unpleasant submitter who could and would not take responsibility for her problems. *sigh* That's not why I got into the job!
Work is getting better, slowly. I still have a little to do on the project that is ending, but right now, I have to wait for some decals to be printed and placed. Then I should get some pics and get the last little bit done. I just want to know, though, what it is about departments I don't work for that make them think that their stuff should be at the top of my priority list -- even though it isn't at the top of theirs! Oh well.
Julia's off to a conference in Victoria this weekend. I'd say lucky dog (which she is -- foodie-type academic conference -- food tours, etc.), but she's going to miss the WARM (85-95 degree) weather this weekend!!! I'm going to LOVE IT!!!!
Vandal's tummy is going better, but Sable has scraped up her paw. If it's not one, it's the other!
