Aug. 20th, 2007 09:39 pmWell, this week is certainly shaping up interestingly. This afternoon I broke the stem on my glasses -- this has to be a design flaw as the last pair of these frames broke exactly the same way at very nearly the same age (1 year + 2 weeks -- just past the warranty period). So I've got an appointment tomorrow for an exam so I can order new glasses and frames. And no, I am not getting the same frames. In fact, I've already picked out my frames and they do not have spring hinges!
Also tomorrow, Sable may get the bandages off her feet. I expect she's getting one off, but am not sure about the second. The right front paw may be abscessing (we hope the antibiotics are taking care of that!), so new bandages may go on. So I get to have my poor kitty traumatized at the vet, then get my eyes dilated, THEN get to go to work! So tomorrow may be as interesting as today.
Oh, yeah -- I was able to get a new stem on the glasses but it doesn't match. It does keep the glasses on my face though. Unfortunately, I can't find my back-up pair -- they seem to have gotten lost in the move. So I may be getting two pair tomorrow.
