Oct. 27th, 2007 08:55 pmWe got Julia's chair today -- it's a burgundy red Lazyboy. We got it for a steal -- less than 1/3 the suggested retail price. Yippee!
The neighborhood had a block party for Halloween. It was pleasant. I made a jack-o-lantern witch (cinnamon puff cake with a rice krispie treat hat). It was a hit. Here are some pics:
I smeared some black cake gel icing on the hat to blacken it a little -- I didn't have enough to quite paint it fully black.
