Nov. 16th, 2007 09:51 pmToday was my first appointment with my new primary care physician. It went pretty well. She's taking my pain issues seriously and is referring me to a neurologist for an evaluation. She agrees that, with three separate neurological diagnoses and two other incidents of prolonged pain, we should get someone to look into it. If for no other reason than to see what we can do to reduce them. So that is good. What is not good is that I now have an official diagnosis of high blood pressure -- bad genes. Both of my parents were diagnosed by their early 40s. And I had hoped that it was elevated as a result of pain. Boo!
