Nov. 27th, 2007 06:38 pmTwo inches, just two inches of snow and people forgot how to drive. Top speed on the way to work was 30 miles an hour on the INTERSTATE (with a brief 35 mph stint)!!!! It didn't help that the DOT had posted a sign van that said there was an accident ahead. Six miles later I still hadn't seen it. My 10-15 minute commute (depending on lights) turned into a 30 minute commute.
The drive home wasn't really any better. We got to 45 miles an hour near the end of my trip, but most of it was 15 MPH!!!!!!!!!! Grrrr. The roads weren't that bad.
And we have worse weather coming tomorrow night. I think it might be faster to walk to work. It's only 5 miles.
