While we got snow again last night, it was only 1/2 inch. Yea!!! This shouldn't set plowing back too far -- if, of course, they didn't stop plowing and decide that we didn't get enough to keep it up. There's some neighborhoods that still have a foot or so of snow on the streets.

We needed to free the garbage can today. I had placed it next to the porch, but didn't think about the eaves overhanging the area. Ooops! One wheel of the can was frozen to the ground by the melt. *sigh* A goodly dose of salt and time (not thyme) took care of that.

I am so looking forward to the end of next week. We are supposed to get into the 40s!!! Of course that means snow melt and flooding, but I DON'T CARE! I live on top of a hill. Nyah!

We reorganized the family room upstairs today. Basically we rotated it 90 degrees counterclockwise, so the TV is now next to the stairs and our chairs are next to the bedroom. The space is really opened up and the gable is no longer wasted space.
