Vandal saga continued
Feb. 17th, 2008 11:23 amThe vet did decide to rebandage Vandal's paws because they got wet. Which was good as the inside of the bandages were a little damp (Vet Wrap is not waterproof), but his feet were dry (yea!!). So he's been learning how the new, slightly bigger bandages work -- the vet technician made the bandages a little higher up the legs because he was slowly but surely getting them to slide down.
And this has let to me getting more thwaps from the poor kitty -- mostly in the head and face. *grrrr*
Unfortunately, Vandal was also misbehaving this morning. He pissed on the bedroom carpet -- we *know* he can get into and out of the litter box. He just decided to wander around crying and then peed on the floor. We think he was annoyed that he didn't have any wet food up here even though he was demanding it. It could have been annoyance at the pellet litter, which he hates, but we need to use to be gentle on tender paws. It shouldn't be a UTI, he's been on antibiotics for a while now; though he wasn't able to be pee for 3 hours after we got him home from the surgery. *sigh* Need to get some enzymatic cleaner today.
