(no subject)

Vandal managed to shake his bandage off the night after he saw the vet and I mentioned to the vet that the bandage had slid some (hint, hint). So Julia had to take him in for rebandaging. The vet who did the surgery (there are four vets in the practice) saw him this time and decided he doesn't muck with his paws, so he doesn't need the bandages. Guess who is a happy kitty?

I had a carotid duplex done today -- they dopplered my carotid arteries just to make sure last week's problems weren't caused by intermittent blockages. The technician said there was nothing to worry about, but that the radiologist had to sign off on it and send it to my doctor. So presumably there are no surprises lurking in my future. Now it's just a matter of waiting for the neurologist to get back from his conference so he can review my file and we can set up an appointment. I'm hoping the symptoms last week will encourage them to get me in before May.

Oh damn, I need to contact the ophthalmologist to get the insurance to approve yearly visits.
