Apr. 6th, 2008 03:00 pmWell, the power snow shovel I thought I might have put away Easter weekend is not in the shed. Therefore, I can only conclude that someone swiped it off our front porch. Come to think of it, I remember it being there when Juliana put the tires for the Buick on the front porch, so someone must have swiped it. At least they left the tires.
I decided I really needed to do some yardwork today. I really needed to mark the locations of the crocuses (croci?) and the tulips this year so I can replant them this fall. I also wanted to get some of the pine needles and other tree debris cleaned up before they really damaged the grass. And the grass is starting to grow a little, so I need the yard cleaned up before we can start mowing.
Of course, Mother Nature had other ideas. First she threw grauple (ice pellets) at me, then sunshine (like that would work) then thunder. I got the message. Which is good because about 45 minutes later, the grauple came down in buckets then went away five minutes later. No sense going out to do more as it has been raining off and on since then. And the yard waste bucket is full.
