Jun. 14th, 2008 08:52 pmJulia made a mistake today. She went to Eastern's graduation ceremonies (she was the only member of her program available) and let me go to the local botannical garden's fundraising plant sale. And buy I did!! I stayed under budget -- I only spent 90% of what I was allowed!
By the time she got home this afternoon, all 13 plants had been planted, two plants had been moved, I had trimmed the forsythia in the backyard (but have more to do), weeded the front three flower beds, and cleaned the flower bed around the pine in the back yard. Oh, and started a mungo compost pile.
And I'm not as sore as I thought I would be. Yea for botox!
After Julia got home, we went for a drive. Today has been stunning -- nearly 80 and sunny. Then we stopped at a restaurant called Anthony's at the Falls -- which overlooked the Spokane upper falls. The view is incredible (I now have pics of the falls as my wallpaper on my cell phone). The food was lovely, particularly the desserts.
