Jun. 27th, 2008 08:00 pmVandal is still doing well. He's still on sub-cutaneous fluids twice a day and his insulin dose is 1 unit twice a day (was 2.0 in the morning and 2.5 in the afternoon). We need to get a glucose level sometime next week to see how this dose is doing.
Unfortunately, this means our plans for An Tir-West War are scuttled. Vandal is not up for the 12+ hour trip and we can't leave him home with a pet sitter checking only twice a day. And we don't have anyone who can do it full-time and give him his shots. And to think, a week ago we weren't expecting this to be a problem.
