Aug. 11th, 2008 09:18 pmAutumn War was cold and wet. Highs didn't reach 70 and we got wet on Saturday. Scattered showers during the day and a prolonged one in the evening. I'm glad we learned our lesson about sleeping bags at Coronation -- not only did we remember them, but we brought extra blankets for under us.
Julia and I crashed Saturday night by 9:30, having decided to have a night in because Vandal got freaked. He did it to himself -- he got himself tangled around one of the cots to the point that his collar pulled out from his neck when he laid down. The tent smelled like musky, distressed kitty -- not fun.
Julia did a goodly number of consults and I drew several pretty pictures for the submitters. That worked well until my shoulders complained.
Sunday packing was annoying. I cracked my head (and wrenched my neck) but good during packing and Julia and Symmonne had to finish. I didn't think it was too bad until I realized I had spent several minutes curled up afterward going "Oh shit that hurt!"
