Aug. 24th, 2008 05:19 pmI convinced the neurologist to puncture me before I go on my next trip rather than after. So I'm feeling a little draggy but not terribly sore (unlike the last time when I could barely raise my arm). But it should be kicking in during the trip and not letting my shoulder interfere with everything I want to do!!!!!!
He also gave me a prescription for darvocet for my headaches. Ibuprofen just wasn't cutting it any more -- would usually take 2 doses of 800mg about 3 hours apart to deal with it. I have to be careful when I am using the ultracet for the shoulder (it won't work on my non-shoulder headaches) because they both have acetaminophen.
I also have a prescription for an evaluation for a TENS unit. These block pain signals to the brain, so I might not need as many drugs. Yea!!!!
