Went to a lovely, but quite windy event yesterday in the Tri-Cities area. It was a smaller event that I anticipated, but still really nice. The heraldry consultation tent got set up next to the wrong list field, but that was okay because we still got a lot of business. I think some of that was because I put up walls on the popup anticipating rain and got a nice windbreak instead. We felt really welcomed there -- unlike in our local group (from our first event here!).

We stayed with a really nice couple who had been Baron and Baroness of the group some time ago. Both of them are also into cons, so we had something in common. We should be seeing them around a lot.
