(no subject)

I seem to have caught a virus from work. I hate it when coworkers come in sick (particularly if they come in four days and leave early each day feeling ill). If you are sick, stay home. While it is nice to share, it is nicer to not share your cold!

So I have swollen lymph nodes around the back of my head. This is a normal immune response for me. Unfortunately, swollen lymph nodes under a spasmed muscle equals OWWWWWW! I hurt too much to be touched when I woke up (over and over through the night). It took two cycles with the TENS machine, a muscle relaxant, and a pain pill to get out of bed.

Julia was sweet and offered me breakfast in bed. She's right now making breakfast and will bring it upstairs (to the family room, I'm not eating in bed). I love her!

So no folk festival for me this weekend. I doubt I will get to putter around the house as I was planning. Grrrr!

I forgot to mention how bad I was earlier this week. I bought two Calaphon pans -- a griddle and an "everyday" pan on Amazon. Together they list for over $200 but I got them for(  -- drum roll please -- )

I've been doing my happy dance all week. They are due in on the 10th.
