Jan. 17th, 2009 09:13 pmGot some housework done yesterday, including mopping the downstairs bathroom and some spot cleaning in the dining room and sweeping the kitchen. Turned up the heat too high for our guest last night, so we kind of got roasted in the bedroom. Opening the door to the sleeping porch helped. I tossed and turned for about three hours between being too hot and having overexerted myself. So I've been a sore puppy today -- to the point of narrowly averting a migraine.
We still got some good stuff done. We spent our gift certificate for Target getting a new boombox so we can rip the tapes to mp3s. We stopped by Costco and got me a mandolin from MIU -- damn but that thing is big! It had good reviews online, so I'm hoping it does what I want.
Then we went to EWU campus to get books out of the library. Poor Julia got stuck carrying the 20 or so I check out as well as her five or so. Poor baby.
