Computer Crash!!!
Feb. 15th, 2009 08:13 pmI want to let everyone know that my laptop is currently committing suicide. I cannot boot it up if the power cord is plugged in. I can still charge the battery, so I am in the process of getting all my files off of it.
I have also bought a new computer. It is infected with Windows Vista -- and converting back to XP is not likely to be feasible at this point. So I am trying to move certain files, such as my e-mail boxes, to the new computer and running into problems finding where they go (caused by Vista's freaking paternalistic attitudes toward users). So if anyone has send me e-mails in the last week or so and has not received an expected response, please resend.
