Life goes on

We're getting settled in. The kitchen is fully unpacked and put away; I only have to organize my cookery/herbal/gardening books. The upstairs bathroom is nearly done; the bedroom is mostly done. This weekend is likely to be focusing on the library, study and dining room -- doubt that we'll get them totally done. In addition, we REALLY need to mow the lawn and get into the garden.
Unfortunately, the wonderfulness of feeling I've had over the last two weeks seems to be in abeyance. Aching, tired neck and shoulder accompanied by the occasional spasm. I'm getting through it, but really, really annoyed.
On the upside, living in our own house is wonderful! Our neighbors are truly wonderful - one of them brought a hot, homemade apple pie and a bottle of wine over Tuesday night. Before we finished moving in, our neighbors on the other side would take our trash bins to the street for us. Is that great or what?!
The kitties are settling in. Every time I go downstairs, Sable meows and has to follow as though she's afraid I will disappear. Vandal has finally decided this isn't a hotel room (he's used to strange places for a day or two or so when he travels with us. He's definitely feeling comfy -- he just pushed Sable out of the food bowl up here (literally).
