Getting back to normal

Things are slowly getting back to normal. The kitties are still clingy, but I can now go the bathroom without one of sticking their noses where they don't belong. Julia and I still can't leave the apartment at the same time without a little tizzy when either of us gets back.
I seem to have developed a head cold or sinus infection. Adding humidity to the apartment has helped enormously, so I am making turkey noodle soup. Yum!!
We still haven't unpacked -- Julia had to start teaching right away and bending over makes my head feel like it's going to explode. So that might wait until next weekend. But, as far as we can tell, everything made it home intact. I'm rather impressed that I was able to pack the picture and frame (three framed shots from their wedding) that we got from Julia's brother and get it home without breaking the glass.
