What I've done in the last year

I know it's not New Year's Eve or Day, but I find myself in a retrospective mood at the moment. Thinking about what has happened and what should happen in the future. So here goes:
So over all, I think the last year has been a win for me.
Things I'd like to accomplish in the next year, but am refusing to resolve (it never seems to work):
S
- We've bought a house - win
- We've also bought a new car - win
- We've had one car die - fail
- I've come off all my schedule pain-related meds - win
- I've gained a new scheduled BP med - fail
- I've continued working at the same place now and have made my boss really, really happy with me - superwin
- Julia's family has had some major health issue - fail
- Julia is working on her second article toward tenure - win
- I've given up Lions Blood - win (the stress was becoming a health issue)
- I'm doing lots more cooking and developing recipies - win
So over all, I think the last year has been a win for me.
Things I'd like to accomplish in the next year, but am refusing to resolve (it never seems to work):
- I'd like to become more active
- I'd also like to experiment more in the kitchen -- the things I've learned reading Harold McGee's On Food and Cooking are just begging for me to try them in the kitchen (and the new cookware doesn't hurt either!)
- I'd like to find better strategies for dealing with pain issues before they get entrenched -- and I'd like to see if the various issues I've been dealing with most of my life is interrelated
- I'd like to get a travel article written and shopped around; I'm thinking of something like the Four Seasons of Spokane
