sue_n_juliaIn total we got about three inches of snow before it started blowing around. So the backyard is now cratered with snow puffs that feel from the tree -- it looks rather like the moon actually.
One of the neighborhood kids showed up and shoveled our walks. We paid more than he asked -- but he didn't clear behind the cars (so I did -- in just a t-shirt and jeans because I didn't intend to be outside long), so I'm a little annoyed. I'm more annoyed at our neighbor, whose kids shoveled their walk in behind our cars. Julia will speak with him when she runs into him next week.
Made a batch of chili with ground deer meat. Lovely stuff, flavorful and lean. Yum, yum. But I didn't get any of the baking done I wanted -- I was just too sore and tired and cranky.
Well, tomorrow starts a new week. It should go well.
