The conversion to the new laptop is pretty much complete. I've got a few games to install, but that's not a hugely high priority. I despair of figuring out exactly what Thunderbird was doing with my e-mail files -- I followed their instructions and can get my e-mail up to 2005!!! That's when I started using that laptop; I have no idea where my other e-mail is.

Fortunately, I don't think there was anything overly important on the old machine and I am keeping it intact right now. I will eventually figure out how to export the e-mail into another format.

when you figure out how to export your Thunderbird email, will you let me know, too? I am using Windows XP Pro, and for the life of me cannot seem to get emails into any other format! I want to save a majority of one subfolder to a word processor program - I have Word 2003 - but cannot figure it out!
