Weather forecasting is art not science

Well, that big snowstorm we were supposed to get Friday and Saturday...didn't happen. Starting Friday night, the forecasters started downgrading it from 5-9 inches to 3-5, Saturday morning was rain then 1-3, Saturday afternoon was 1, and Saturday night was wait until Sunday. We are getting some snow, probably not much more than an inch today.

The roads are clear -- the roadworks guys started pretreating the roads Saturday for this. So there shouldn't be any of the nasty stuff we had on Tuesday.

Other than that, we don't have much happening. Finals week is next week, so Julia will be pretty crazed next weekend. Then the holiday break begins.
