The migraines are. I had a pretty good ebb on them for two years. Then a year ago, they started once in a while. I'm not quite getting them every six weeks, but nearly. They aren't as severe as they were, but that's the next step.

Yesterday, the interview I had was rescheduled for today. That's good because about a half hour after I got off the phone it started. The front half of my head just started aching. Then, when I got up, I started experiencing some lightheadedness/dizziness. And that was the way the rest of the day went.

I know, this doesn't sound like most migraines I get. These are what they can be like in the early days of the multi-year cycle. Sometimes I don't get the overwhelming sensory issues - when that happens, I usually just call it a headache and deal; I don't like to call them migraines if I have any functionality at all. Unfortunately that doesn't make them not migraines.

So, I had a cluster of these damn things in November, December, and now. Guess I need to put that health insurance to work and find a doctor who can help me get on top of them before I end up with the 10-day monsters. AGAIN!

Anyway, the interview is on for today (as far as I know) and I have an INBA luncheon to go to. So far I feel pretty good (with 4 ibuprofen in me and a frappacino). Looks like today is going to be a 6-cup day.

Well, the interview went much better than expected. I will certainly be doing something with the reporting gig, but there is a distinct possibility of more than simply reporting. The pay will be nearly non-existent, but the kudos could be immense. It's an amazing opportunity.

The migraine seems to have left, which is cool. I talked to a local massage therapist (2 blocks away) and have been given authorization by Juliana to try her out. It should help in at least in the short run.
