(no subject)

I got a job interview with a local company this week. They called yesterday to schedule the interview for Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. I got an e-mail this morning at 11:50 (when I checked my e-mail) scheduling the interview for 12:00 TODAY! WTF??!!! If you are going to schedule a day earlier and within 18 hours of talking to someone, call them and let them know the new schedule. You can't count on the e-mail even getting through that quickly. I know I told her I was on DSL and connected most of the time, but I've had e-mails come through as new that are dated 24 hours old. That's not unusual.

To top it off, Word is not working AGAIN. That's 3 times in the last year and a half. So Julia and I are looking at getting me something new, not too low-end but not too high-end. GACK!

P.S. The interview is being rescheduled for Thursday -- the reason it was originally scheduled for today was a mistake on a manager's schedule.
