Jul. 27th, 2005 09:11 pmHeard from Juliana today -- things are going well for her. She'll be back in the States in just over a week. She sprained her foot tripping over a chain across the driveway of the cabinas where she is staying. She's sore, but doing okay.
I've nearly finished sending out my first external letter. Everything is in envelopes, needing stamps; I still have to set up the e-mailing for those who take electronic copy. I'm feeling pretty good about it, but have realized just how heavy the workload at the end of the month is. Here's what it looks like:
Sounds like fun, huh? That doesn't include writing notifications. But some of you reading this already know the drill. I'm setting up a schedule so I can stay on top of it. The biggest issue is that An Tir is a summer-event kingdom, and they are mostly camping events. I'm blowing off an event I planned to go to because I can't deal with the drive and I need the time to write notification letters.
As far as mundane work goes, it's going well. My client is happy with me, but unhappy with the rewrites/revisions that are happening because the engineers keep making changes. I'll be full-time until Pennsic, then we'll see. I won't be surprised to stay full-time until September.
Gonna run.

I'm feeling pretty good about it, but have realized just how heavy the workload at the end of the month is. Here's what it looks like:
- Third Sunday of month -- hold meeting
- Write decisions
- End of month -- send out external letter from meeting
- Prepare internal letter (get text and graphics from Boar, put together articles, add greetings from BL and LB)
- By 7th of following month -- send out internal letter
