Sep. 25th, 2005 08:10 amYesterday Julia and I went "stuff" shopping. We hit a couple of the local Goodwill stores and found some useful stuff (silver-plated tin goblets, brandy snifter, candle sticks) but nothing terribly interesting per se. We also stopped by Target and got more stuff. It was nice just getting out of the house.
Other than that, there's nothing much going on right now. We've listened to the hurricane coverage. And been thankful there is a major mountain range that protects us from Pacific hurricanes (not that many hit the U.S). And we've discovered an interesting tidbit. Spokane is the 5th safest major city in the U.S. from natural disasters; Honululu is the safest. I don't know what the other three are.
