Jan. 23rd, 2007 10:02 pmSo far so good -- I haven't had to take anything for headaches. This is only the third day this month that is true for. *sigh* I almost made it through yesterday, but I woke up 1/2 hour after going to sleep with some nasty neck aches and headache. I thought about just taking some ibuprofen, but realized that I was clenching my jaw rather tightly so I probably needed the prescription stuff. Oh well.
We got preapproved for a mortgage so now the house-hunting can start in earnest. We also have a buyer's agent, who is doing a rather good job going through the listings and finding stuff we might be interested in. We should be getting together with her on Thursday afternoon to talk things over and look at some places, but nothing is quite confirmed yet. These are scary waters we're getting into -- never thought I would want to own property. Renting always seemed easier -- maintenance was Somebody Else's Problem.
The documentation saga continues at work. I FINALLY have a "final" list of decals and their locations. The deadline on this thing was yesterday and I still didn't have a final list of what we were stickering the machine with. And to top it all off, most of the work I've already done is useless!!!!! Not one of them is the same as the decals I proposed two weeks ago. Even more fun: instead of ten different decal designs we already have in hand, we'll now have 22 all, new pieces of artwork to be done on an as-fast-as-the-artist-can basis. And of course, the other office doesn't want to standardize to our established decal style. AAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!
