Nov. 6th, 2007 08:38 pmHmmm, my body seems to have decided that it doesn't like these antibiotics. This morning I woke up with a little bit of a rash that I dismissed as irritation from my sleeping clothes; you know from the twisting and rubbing. I believe it went away during the day -- at least I didn't notice it.
This evening I noticed the rash again (AFTER I took my evening dose of antibiotics). This time it is on the front of my chest, both shoulders, and upper back. So I am stopping the antibiotic till I see a doctor tomorrow, unless things get worse. I hope not.
The nurse advisor suggested benadryl, but that is not an option. Not only does it knock me on my ass for 8-12 hours, but it leaves me loopy, sluggish, and slurring my words. Needless to say, that scares the shit out of doctors.
