sue_n_juliaWell, Vandal's blood sugar hasn't come down much since Friday, so we increased his meds yet again. While we were hoping for better, this isn't entirely unexpected. It is also a bit better that we didn't knock his blood sugar down too quickly -- that could have sent him into something like shock. His body wouldn't have been used to the lower sugar level.
Otherwise things are going fine. I got a new toy in the mail today -- if only I could read Italian. My toy is a facsimile of a period Italian herbal that has just recently been released to the public by the British Museum. We got it through Amazon.com/ca at about half the price (including shipping) as we would have if we had ordered it from the British Museum (not including shipping). Wow!
I just received my sister's gift in the mail today. OH MY! OH MY! It is a gorgeous handcrafted serving bowl from Cambridge Springs, PA (just north of my parents). OH MY! I will have to figure out how to put pictures here just for this.
