Looking a lot like Christmas

Just in time for the weather to get back to the 40 degree mark and will all melt away. Hopefully, though, that means that next Wednesday will be clear and we will have no flight delays! (Through O'Hare - right).
However, I seem to be coming down with a cold. I'm somewhat stuffy and sinus drainy, but what's really getting me is that I don't have much energy. I hope it goes away soon. I remember flying to Portland a year and a half ago to visit Julia when I had a hellacious head cold. That was torment. Even under the best of conditions, taking off and landing tend to make my ears hurt and pop. That flight, they didn't pop for over two days!!!!!! Ouch!
I had a brain flash over the weekend. Our 13th anniversary is coming up on the 17th. Can you believe it? 13 years. That's longer than most of my friends have been married (and longer than I've known many of them). We're an old married couple (or would be if the law would allow it).
Guess I ought to sign off now -- I realize that I'm rambling and will blame it on the cold medicine.
