The warm-up has begun!

sue_n_juliaWell, the four or so inches of snow we had are down to less than one in just one day of warming up. Not that it's gotten all that warm, but we also had a lot of rain this morning. Right now, I can see some peeks of blue in all the gray.
T minus one week and counting until the holiday vacation. We are both looking very forward to it, though Julia needs to get through grading hell first. She has given one final and gets the other one (take home) back from her students tomorrow. She also has to finish grading term papers. Makes me glad I didn't become a teacher of any sort.
Nothing big is happening here. Looks like I probably am not getting called back for the face-to-face, but I'm not entirely surprised. They were seriously low-balling the salary for a tech writer; they wanted to pay nearly 20% less than my first tech writing job did!
