Up and running again!
Jan. 17th, 2005 11:27 amWell, the good news is that I've gotten all the software installed, but haven't tried printing yet. That's because we need to get a power strip so we can plug in the P2 which serves as a printer server. I moved the P2 last week to make some space on a bookshelf and the nearest outlets are only two-pronged. But, everything else is working wonderfully!
And, we found some files that I lost when I reinstalled everything. As I had hoped, when I was having printing problems, I copied a few files to Julia's computer so I could print. She hadn't deleted them, so I have recovered my brochure, which took over a month to design and execute. Whew!
Other than that, things are pretty much same-old, same-old. We got more snow this weekend with freezing rain and ice today (and maybe tonight). The roads aren't fun, but Julia has today off as it is a holiday. The weathermen keep saying it will warm up this week (to nearly 50 one day), but I'll believe it when I see it.
