An Tir is currently doing a Great Boke project -- sort of a Domesday book mated with a group history. I have agreed to do the four populace pages. I convinced one of the scribes that we can do they quite quickly in ivy leaf and it won't take too much time (they just realized, after they had planned their allotted pages, that they forgot these ones). So, I have about a month to get them done. I've gotten someone else to agree to do the calligraphy as my calligraphy skills have atrophied far worse than my illuminating skills had. But it will be quite fun.

I've also agreed to teach a class on heraldic consultation for the ATKHS. I'm going to discuss things like:
  • What you need to have at the table

  • What paperwork you need to complete

  • What those little boxes on name forms means

  • How to handle problems

So, if any of you out there has a consultation story where you needed to address a problem of a submitter's (getting them what they wanted after others failed, or having to tell them that what they want they can't have), please let me know in my guestbook. I am looking for a variety of examples.
