Closer to closing
Mar. 13th, 2007 09:41 pmThe mortgage broker called this evening. He is moving forward with the paperwork so we should be able to close on Tuesday. Cool!
I'd actually be jumping for joy if I weren't so tired. Last night was not meant for sleeping -- at least my cat didn't think so. First was the getting under the blankets and swishing her tail against my bare legs. So I had twitchy, itchy legs. Kicked the cat out of bed (literally -- she wouldn't go any other, gentler way and it was 12:30 already), which helped the twitchiness. Got rid of some blankets which helped the itchiness (overheated, oversensitive skin). Then, just after I had fallen asleep for real, she wriggled under the blankets again, but not under the sheet. So she got a little panicky when she wanted out and started wresting the sheets at 2:00. *grrrrr*
So I got less than 4 hours of contiguous sleep and less than 6 hours total. To top it off, I was having some strange dream about Doctor Who and these plucked bird-like critters with penises instead of heads. Eewwww! Not a restful night.
